250 HOURS TO PROUDLY BUILD YOUR SAM
Tools required to assemble your Sam:

Assembly of the E-LSA kit requires 250 to 300 hours. Main components of the aircraft are pre-assembled and all welding is done at the factory to reduce assembly time and maximize construction satisfaction. To complete the kit you need to:
Hand tools:
• Needle-nose pliers
• Wire strippers
• Side cutters
• Aviation snips & hammers
• Wrench set SAE & Metric
• Ruler & tape measure
• Set of drill bits
• Screwdriver set - SAE & Metric
• Deburring tool
• Clecos and Clecos pliers
• 2 or 4 ft. Level
• Files & scotch-brite pads
• Safety glasses
Power tools:
• Pneumatic riveter
• Dremel
• Air compressor
• Small electric grinder
• Electric hand drill
• Bench disk sander
• Cleco pliers
Install the firewall forward section
Install electricty
Install instrumentation on the dashboard
Fit the seats, upholstery and interior details
Mount the throttle and controls
Trim and install the fairings, wing tips and cowlings
Paint or polish the aircraft
Mount the canopy on the fuselage
