A NEW VISION TO LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT
OUR SUPPORTS

In 2007, Thierry Zibi noticed that every aircraft is designed for a single specific use; he had the idea to design a light sport aircraft with versatile flying characteristics. A unique concept of modularity was created to adapt the aircraft to different flying conditions.
Haim Aviation was born in France in 2007. To be closer to the North American target market, the company was relocated to Canada in 2009.
The arrival of Haim Aviation in Canada has generated a lot of interest from organizations and governments which financially support the company.
Haim Aviation is proud to be supported by many organizations and governments, among them:
Tax credit for Scientific Research and experimental development funds.
Revenu Canada
Revenu Québec
Investissement Québec

Ministry of development, innovation and export trade
The M.D.E.I.E

Passionate about the golden age of aviation, Thierry designed a modern aircraft with a retro silhouette and elegant curves, aiming to attract nostalgic aviation enthusiasts with a passion for performance.

The Sam has been designed using Solidworks, a powerful 3D CAD software.
The prototype is currently under construction. Test flights are scheduled for the second quarter of 2012.
Haim Aviation’s objective is to offer a robust, modern, fun and secure airplane for the light sport market in the United States and Canada.
With that in mind, the Sam is born.
